Work from Home Night Jobs

Hey, Angie Nelson here, from
the Today, we’re going to be talking about some great work-at-home jobs that you can do during the
evening or overnight hours. Whether you’re a stay-at-home parent with kids at home during the day, or maybe you have a full-time job outside of the home that you are, and you’re looking to monetize
some of your spare time. I have some great opportunities for you today that are going to allow you to work during the nights, or maybe even the weekends, in order to earn some extra cash. Make sure you stay until the end of the video to find out
how you can learn more about these great opportunities,
in addition to some others. Now, the first opportunity we’re talking about today is becoming a
customer service representative for Alorica. Alorica is a company that’s been around for a really long time
in the work-at-home world. They hire customer service representatives to cover the phones for a variety of different clients in
all kinds of industries. Now, for these positions, you do need to have a computer, a headset, a reliable internet connection, and also a plain-old
feature-free landline telephone. Now, these positions are really flexible. I worked for this company
when I first started working from home, way back in 2007, though it was under a different
company name at that time. One thing that I really
loved about this company is that you were allowed
to pick up your shifts in just 30 minute increments, so it is something that you can just pick up those 30 minute blocks in order
to complete your schedule. Now, for most of their positions, you do need to be able to commit to at least 10 hours per week. But being able to pick up
those 30 minute shifts, you can really get that done over a number of days, if you need to. Now, another great position for those of you that are looking to
work overnight hours is going to be VIPKID. This is a company that hires
English language teachers, and what you’re doing in this position is teaching
conversational English to children in China. Now, because these kids are
in a different time zone, a time zone that’s actually
about 11 hours different from Eastern time zone, here in the US, a lot of their coverage need is going to be in the early morning
hours during the week, or in the evening and overnight
hours during the weekends. Now, VIPKID does require you
to have a bachelor’s degree, though it can be in any subject. You are also going to need a
reliable internet connection, a webcam, and a headset. And a video interview
is absolutely essential for getting hired for this position, but it’s not something that
you should be nervous about. What they’re really looking for is to make sure that you
have a great personality, and that you can have fun while you’re interacting with those kids. Now, if you’re looking for a gig that is non-phone, and doesn’t require you to be on camera, you
can look into Fancy Hands. Fancy Hands is a company that
hires virtual assistants, and they hire them for small tasks. These aren’t going to be big projects that you’re working,
one-on-one, with the client, these are going to be just small jobs that you could pick up as
you have time, and complete. Now, most of these are going to pay just a flat fee per task. It’s usually around three
to seven dollars per task, and this company does pay by Dwolla. That’s not a really
popular payment option, so that is something that
you need to consider. They no longer pay by PayPal or check. Dwolla is your only option. Now, this company does service
a ton of different clients. So they do have a desire to
have assistants available around the clock. That’s why it can be a great opportunity for those of you who are looking to work some nighttime hours. Now, Advantis is a company that hires call center
telephone researchers. Now, what you’re doing is calling people to ask them research
or interview questions. Now, these are not going
to be overnight hours that are available, they are
going to be in the evenings. Most of the time, I believe that their job description
says they’re operating between 5:00 p.m. and
12:00 a.m. Eastern time, Monday through Friday, and then 12:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Now, again, for this position, you are going to need to have a landline, a headset, high speed internet,
and a quiet home office. Now, the last opportunity we’re talking about today is with NexRep. NexRep is another company that hires for customer service
positions quite frequently. One of their openings right
now is for outbound sales, and these positions can
actually pay pretty well. Their job description, at this time, does say that the positions are currently paying 15 to more
than 25 dollars per hour. Now, NexRep does not require a landline because the calls are actually
routed through your computer. Now, for these outbound sales positions that are open at the time
of filming this video, the hours available are seven days a week, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Eastern time, and for this specific position, you do need to commit
to 15 hours per week. Now, again, with any
customer service position, you are going to need to have a quiet home office environment, so that means no noisy
pets, no noisy kids. It is something that is
going to require some quiet, and it’s also going to require a reliable internet connection. But if you can offer those two things, there are actually a ton of companies that hire for customer service positions, and I’ll leave you a link to those lists in the description below. Now, that NexRep position
for outbound sales that we’re talking about today, that one obviously has a base
hourly pay plus commissions, which is why there is such a range there, as far as what the income potential is. But if you’re a natural salesperson, it’s definitely one that you’re
going to want to look into. Now, those are just a few
great part-time night jobs that you can do from home. I’ll leave you a link in
the description below, where you can learn more about
these great opportunities, in addition to some others. Now, if you liked today’s video, please give it a like and a share, and make sure you’re subscribed to my channel so you’ll get
